Hello all and a happy new year !

I was on course to graduate at Christmas but unfortunately I had to have a procedure done so have done no running or exercise for the last couple of weeks ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now I feel like a sloth and need to get back into the world of running ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜„

whatโ€™s the best way to approach it should I start again from wk 1 ? what do you recommend

Happy new year! Iโ€™m in a similar situation, just went out to see where I was up to, didnโ€™t set any goals but didnโ€™t push too hard just in case. That could be the worse advice possible but it worked for me.

You shouldn't need to go back so far (depending on the procedure I suppose) after just a couple of weeks. Just head out the door and do a gentle jog and see how far you go. I am sure you will be surprised at your retained fitness. Enjoy :)

Just back and I had to do intervals of running then walking, could feel it in my legs and also my breathing , I have however got a bit of a cold so maybe that not helping ๐Ÿ˜‰

I will keep persevering and get back into it again ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ thank you for your advise
