Hadnt ran at all for 3 weeks. Stinking cold that got onto my chest. Decided to go back to week 1 run 1 just to see how i felt. So pleased i did. Managed the full set of runs, but my breathing is still a little ropey. I reckon i can try week 2 on friday. I was at week 8 before my cold, but dont think i could manage that yet

The good news is you know you can reach week 8 and from there it’s just a hop skip and jump to week 9. Hope the cold doesn’t hold you back too much. I’ve let things slide for 2 months so dreading it as much as I’m looking forward to it lol.

Take it very slow and steady and make sure that the chest is completely better :)

Welcome back and very well done, I should say sensibly done! Take it easy if you've had a bad chest infection. So you're right to test yourself first. Hope your next run will feel even easier.
