Happy Christmas my lovely family.....

Just done my ‘Santa’ duties...all presents under the tree....carrot broken & teeth marks left, cookie bitten, milk drunk, footprints made..I’m now sat with a glass of red, my house is sleeping & I am soon to be heading to bed...but not before I wish my gorgeous running family a very, very happy Christmas...make time for your running, if you’re still on the C25k programme, keep going...I started 2017 on the couch but I am finishing 2017 & starting 2018 very much off the couch & loving every minute of it...you might think you can’t do it, but I promise you that you can...if you’re having any doubts at all, read back on some of our stories, everyone has to start somewhere & this is honestly the best place to start...we are all together, United in our running enjoyment...see you all next time I’m out, you will all be out with me & I will be out with you....here’s to a very runderful 2018 my lovelies, sending you lots of love xxxxx thankyou for being my friends xxxxx

In Finland a neighbour or relative dresses up as Joulupukki (Santa) and arrives to give the kids their presents in person. Santa is "paid" with a nip of something warming

Lovely post - enjoy your Santa duties, they go by so fast (tho' stockings are still left by Santa every year, even tho' mine are well into their 20's!)... I'll be out for a run tomorrow morning - feel like a sloth at the moment, or maybe a stuffed turkey - do looking forward to it! Merry Christmas!
