Just checking in for all those in the early stages of the programme. I ran W5R1 this morning and I did it! I did 4 W4 runs as I was so nervous about moving on but it was fine :) R2 on Wednesday....8 solid minutes of running...eek!!

Fantastic! You're doing really well. 😄

The program really does work, you don't need to repeat a run out of nervousness. Some times people have an off day and don't complete a run - that is when you would count the first attempt as a practice and then repeat the run. Enjoy W5 😀

You’re doing so well. No need to be nervous, just have faith in the programme. It’s designed to work, and it does. The most important thing to get you through Week 5 is your mindset, as your legs and lungs are so ready for it. Looking forward to see you grinning when you complete the third run this week.

Me too! Did the first run of w5 tonight! I don't know about you but I feel my biggest improvement so far has been learning to breathe properly which affects my stamina. We can do this.

We can! I do seem to run out of puff before my legs tire...feeling fitter already though and amazing myself each time I run!

I love your user name...we have a guinea pig called Sparky!

Hopefully we’ll graduate around the same time :)

Yes we will hopefully but I did repeat week 4 last week and I'll repeat again if necessary. I haven't really suffered with sore legs ....yet! I'm the same with the puff but can't believe I can jog 5 minutes when a few weeks ago I could barely run one! And how easy is 3 minutes when a couple of weeks ago I was stressing about it. It's only when you look back that you can see how far we've come!

I’m quite relaxed about repeating too, I want to feel confident in moving on. Good luck with the 8 minute and the 20 minute runs! 20 minutes will be such a huge achievement for me!

Good luck to you too! I'm not sure if I'm starting to enjoy it or if I'm just addicted to the challenge! Anyhow massive achievement for us!
