The tee shirt arrived and fits... 50 of us are running this in park runs all over the UK this weekend for a colleague who completed all 22 NI park runs raising over £15k but sadly is now unable to continue. We’re over the £3k mark 👍

Work combined this with a C25k programme and help and support for those starting out, very proud of my NI colleagues at BT for pulling this together

I hope it’s okay to put a link, if not please remove it for me

We welcome inspirational posts like these. I’m sorry your colleague is not running with you, they have done an amazing thing, go out there and make them proud. Well done for all you have achieved.

Race morning has come and the ankle is still quite painful so it’s strapped up and as protected as I can get it. Today is going to be a walk shuffle as the last thing I want to do is completely ruin recovery on my ankle. If it wasn’t a charity run I’d be sitting with it up and applying ice ☹️

Nice morning for a shuffle though 😊

We hit our target and raised over £5k between us so very pleased.

On a less promising note I’ve been to the GP as I’m still unable to run on it, have been doing RICE and have been told it’s not broken but the probably some tendon damage. There’s lots of clicking and popping noises ... going to a trusted Osteo tomorrow for some further advice ☹️

That's great about the fundraising but awful about the ankle. Rest up, take all the doc's advice, and I'm sure in the grand scheme of things it will be no time before you are back out.
