Hi Katie, well done on the first run and getting started with the program.

How did you find the first run?

Hi, It was rather hard but I haven't run since I was at school which is more years than I care to remember. Calf were a little sore today but looking forward to week 1 run 2 tomorrow 😊

Hi and welcome!

Well done for getting out there. Just follow the wise words of the other replies and you'll get there ... and remember every time you go for a run, be it short or long, you are one step (excuse the pun) nearer your goal.

Good luck and happy running!

Well done, and keep going. I am only a couple of weeks ahead of you and have found this group invaluable in making me think I am not mad and I can do it.

Well done. It is a challenge being over 50 but second run tonight 😊

W1R1 is definitely the hardest run, mentally and physically. Well done for getting out there :-)

You've done the hard bit by getting out the front door for the first Time, always so easy to find something else to do. I'm dreading my first rainy run night.
