Finally started the program. 1st week done. Let's hope I can be consistent.

Biggest step taken by getting started, well done. I have only been going a week so am very much with you. Best advice I have taken from everyone is just take it slow with the 60 sec run. Have fun.

We all had to start somewhere, and kicking the couch is the very first step and one of the hardest things to do. So well done you, keep posting if you want and if you see advice from either of our mentors Oldfloss or IannodaTruffe then you can be sure of getting sage advice. Happy running next time out

Well done for starting the c25k program Kriston, and welcome to the forum.

Just take the run sections nice and steady, just a gentle jog is all that's required. Its a good idea to do some gentle leg stretching after your warm down walk while your muscles are still warm too.

Onwards and upwards, one run at a time 😊...

Thanks for all the support guys, this really is a great community. For the sake of transparency I should mention that I'm doing my runs on a treadmill since running in my area isn't really safe. Hope this doesn't affect my performance to much.
