Can anyone explain split pace to me. Seems very similar to my regular pace per km. not sure 🤔 what it's for . Thanks

On mapmyrun split pace is the pace of the k just completed and then at the end gives a break down of pace for each k run, you then also get average pace (which speaks for itself

It simply means looking at the timings for each of the kilometres or miles throughout your run. If you run each K/M at the same pace, you have an even split.

If you run the latter K/Ms at a faster pace, it is known as a negative split, usually seen to be a good thing.

Don’t worry about times, pace, distance etc. Just do the sessions. The only thing to focus on is finishing each run
