Struggling a bit. I managed W6 runs 1 + 2 with no bother but this morning I had my second practice of run 3 and after the halfway point just couldn’t continue - I managed to run 2 further lots of 5 minutes only. I’ve been really careful not to move on until I’ve completed each run so I should be prepared for this! I managed the W5R3 without too much bother either. I’m wondering if I’m going too fast again - I’ve noticed that I naturally seem to be going faster - I have to keep checking myself and slowing down again. Maybe this is why I get too tired? Feel very heavy on my feet too. Sorry about the moan. 🙄 I really want to do this.

It can be easier / harder on different days. Running outside in particular adds to this variability as it can be colder, warmer, wetter or whatever.
I haven't yet run early in the morning (earliest for me is about 11) and normally as a consequence I've taken on a decent few calories. Perhaps you just weren't full (re)charged?
I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Give it a day or so and try again, keeping it slow and steady. You can get a tough section sometimes and a bit of extra determination for that bump and a few minutes later you will have overcome it.
Good luck!
Thanks for that. You’re totally right about easy/hard days. When I did W5R3 it was after 4hrs sleep following a night shift. It wasn’t nearly as hard as I was expecting! Onwards and upwards - I am determined and will do it! 😉
Thank you, I’m feeling better now. X
Hi I did Wk6 run 2 this morning and am also find that with the longer runs I’m running quicker, my legs and feet are taking over lol, I’m constantly slowing myself down 😂
It’s weird isn’t it? 🤔 I’d have thought that my body would want to go slower not faster!!
