That feels better

So after touch or go man flu this last week and a chest that sounds (and produces as much mess) as a World War 1 tank I have not been able to run since Monday of last week.

And it has seemed sooooooooooooooooooooo long.

But after the torrential winds and storms we had here over the weekend today the sun was out and the skies were blue.

I sat in my office at home looking out at the fields and it got to 2pm and that was it.

Minion Go Faster Neon running top on, leggings (cold here at this time of year), shorts, trainers and I was out of the door.

Up to the forests and only did 3.5km in 28min but it felt great to be back out. Legs were fine. Finished with as many lungs as I started with and my chesty cough is a lot better since I got back.

Rest day tomorrow and back out there Weds.

Didnt think I would have been thinking this back in August!

It has a firm hold on you, by the sounds of things.

Don't say we didn't warn you.

Glad you're starting to feel better, and well done for braving the cold. It's quite strange, that feeling of frustration when you can't run. I hope you feel properly better soon.

Glad that the man-flu turned out not to be terminal. I, for one, was certainly worried (hard to strike an ironic tone on here :) )

However the running bug is less easy to fight off it seems- well done Mr Minion!
