W7 is behind me ..... ;-)

Well, its seem ages since I posted anything, been a bit busy having a life ;-)

What can I say, Friday was the culmination of the three W7 Runs, and I'm not going to say it was easy, cos it wasn't, but likewise it wasn't as tough as I'd expected. The graphic says I ran for 28 mins, I just didn't shut it down properly :-|

I'd been using MapMyRun to seek out suitable runs and settled on a simple Out and Back from home ... As luck would have it the 5 minute warm up took up all of the uphill section from my house and I was only just short of my projected starting point when Michael said "Its time to Run ... off you go ..."

I've said it a few times now, I really struggle to get me pace slowed down. I seams that my natural rhythm is around 6:30 / km, I've tried to get it slower, just to protect myself from getting worn out and not being able to complete the run, but I've managed them all relatively well so far, though the cool down walk is not pretty ... all down hill, with legs that just want to do their own thing. Will just have to be mindful of the pace over the next few runs ....

As it stand though .... W8R1 beckons ....
