As a little experiment after doing Week 4 Run 1 yesterday I did a week 1 run again, wow what a difference, 3 weeks ago I was puffing and gasping after 30 seconds of each run, today I was barely out of breath after the half hour, the programme really does work.

great to see progress! However, them rest days are important, even though week 1 feels easier it's still some high-impact exercise on newly building running legs, and the rest day is always required for your muscles to repair. It's interesting how different systems in your body respond, repair, and improve due to exercise
