Week 8 run 2 , that was an ugly run and I must have looked desperate for it to finish. Luckily by the time it disintegrated into struggling for the finish, there was only the odd dog walker and grounds man to bear witness!
However I finished and am heading for the next ! Happy week everyone

Most runs are good - ending with a post run glow, full of energy and buzzing all day!
But a few are Meh!
You set out, wait for the 5-10 mins to pass for your rhythm & pace to kick in, .... nothing. You keep going & the halfway bell rings ... thank goodness for that...keep plodding on and after what seems like ages a voice in your ear tells you you have 10 more minutes. 10 MINUTES!!! Surely my phone paused and reset at some stage!!!
You do a quick physical check - am I going too fast, is anything hurting - if the answer is no you keep going as you want to complete the course.
Afterwards you are glad that you didn't have to stop short (and it doesn't matter if you did - ANY run is better than no run at all - unless you are injured).
And the next time you run - you are energised, with a post run glow .......😊
In short we all get a bad run from time to time, just the same as footballers have a bad match & golfers a bad round - that's life!
