I'm sort of used to other runners running past me. But today.... someone WALKED past me while I was on my run.
To be fair, he did look super tall, with legs up to the sky, and I am a mere 5ft nothing. But still, it's quite hard to keep in mind Laura's reassuring "These runs are not about speed..." when someone is walking past you....
Wk7R1 is now in the bag, done and dusted. Albeit kind of slowly.

One of the joys of being vertically challenged 😂 keep going stay strong.
Long legs doing double the distance, us little ones.... it's tough when our strides are about 20-30 cm... but you were running and you did it. Well done
Welcome to the club!! I'm a 5ft-er too and it happens, taller people have a longer stride. It's fine, relax, remember you will always have more leg room on a plane than them 😉
Slow & slower still...there’s nothing wrong with slow...nothing at all...just because inspector gadget happened to be out there at the same time as you don’t let it make you paranoid about your speed or lack of...you’re out there cracking on so be proud...speed may come later on & it may not just be happy with your own pace 😉
