Breathing...

So Jo is telling me to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth but I’m finding this so hard! I breathe in and out through my mouth all the time when running. So a question to you that run the longer runs already, does it matter? What do other people do?

Good question! Though it must be said, I don’t find it too hard unless I am really pushing myself.

Just breathe as you normally do. Slow down and you should be ok 🙂

Just breathe. Simple. Don't think about it. Forget about analyzing how you breathe whilst running. You will naturally find your own breathing technique which suits you.

Do what comes naturally. If you get breathless slow down. Enjoy😀

I’m a mouth breather at the moment. But I do get autumn hay fever, so my nose isn’t the best for breathing right now. I’m doing ok.

I breathe through my mouth but concentrate more on breathing out. Sounds odd, but I breathe out for the count of 2-3 then the in kinda follows on its own accord. Probably doesn’t make sense to try and describe it, I know. Find a pattern that works for you just now and concentrate on getting through each run. You’ll find a groove that works for you
