Anyone else felt exhausted?!

Finished Wk1 yesterday & although run went well I can't believe how tired I was last night/this morning. I know it was Friday but was really overwhelming how knackered I was. Anyone else found that at the start?

Yep I did! Am into WK4 now, even though it's longer running, I don't feel anywhere as tired as WK1. I guess it was a shock to our bodies!

I think a few folk did!!! Concentration, new exercise, anticipation and excitement.. all rolled up into running :)

You are going to be fine...take it gently, steady and slow and just enjoy :)

Yep! Week 1 was such a shock to the system as, like a lot of folks on here, I'd never tried running before. The programme is so brilliantly designed that you'll ease into it, the tiredness will disappear in a relatively short period of time.

Good luck to you, we're all here to help 👍☺

Speaking about running a 5 k I used to feel finished now I feel great. Finished as stuck on the couch for the day! Your body will adapt and after a few weeks it will adjust.
