And I DID IT!! πππ I was ready to quit the other day after I only ran 10 mins of W5R3, then stopped dead, had a go at Mr Smooth lol strolled home and threw my fone. One of you lovely ppl hit the nail on the head actually, I was having a very bad couple of days with my depression and I knew when I went out I wasn't mentally in running mode, silly really. Anyway after reading all your supportive comments eventually and a few choice words from my kids lol I put my train ers back on today and W5R2 is completed yaay π R3 on Sunday bring it on!
2nd go at W5R2.....: And I DID IT!! πππ I was... - Couch to 5K
2nd go at W5R2.....
Oh brilliant, I was going to pm you and then thought you may just need a couple of days on your own and working your way around it. Cant tell you how happy it has made me seeing you back.
Honestly it's fab! Well done you - tackling the big nasty ones that upset you and make you mad/angry/sad is such a good thing, you really grow as a result of it.
Chuffed to buckets!
Thank u hun yeah think I needed to clear my head. I was having a bad couple of days with the mood tbh wasn't in the best frame of mind and stopped W5R3 after 10 mins. So I've picked my dummy n all my toys up n put 'em back in the pram! hahaa π
Not childish at all, bad couple of days can really change your frame of mind. To be honest, we all need to improve fitness to do the runs, but our 'head' fitness is equally as important, in fact if not more so. It's tough especially if the black dog comes visiting. and btw Mr Smooth is very forgiving I told him to eff off quite a few times, but he still kept turning up for our dates! Really really happy to see you re-post. I'm running too on Sunday so will think of you when I am out pounding my way up the hills.
WHOOOP yeah! SO pleased to see this x
Be great if our depressions could go off and do their thing in a corner somewhere else without us, eh... give them some toy phones to throw and some pillows to punch and leave them to it.
but HURRAH you ran and you did it, you outran that black dog with a little help from your trainers and your kids (and Mr Smooth?)!
Oh phew! Good for you, CB. I am so glad you got back out there and it went well. Depression is a b&*$ard. I know first hand. But running does help, I think. Stick with it. x
