Well, I've got this far and it's further than I ever expected to get, by at least 6 weeks!
Today was tough, the last couple of minutes of my last 5 min run were uphill and there were times that thoughts of capitulation crept in but something, and I'm not sure what it was, kept me putting one foot in front of the other, breathing in and out, and moving forward at a steady pace.
Like most people I'm looking forward to week 5 with equal measures of anticipation, fear, excitement and dread. Stories on here of others feeling the same but succeeding will hopefully get me through. I know that much this is a mental block as anything because if anyone had suggested I could run for 5 mins a couple of weeks ago, I would have found that funnier than the funniest joke at the fringe this year. Lol
On a lighter note, I've added a picture of my run elevation which my husband calls my Dolly Parton route! I wonder why lol
