Well done!

Well done :) I'm quite sure you'll keep finding it gets easier as time passes, and you'll be doing that 30 minute run with ease before you know it.

Please do keep us posted!!

Couch25K does what it says - from Tattie to Track Star in 9 weeks! Welcome, well done and good luck!

Well, to be pedantic, it doesn't. It is designed to get you running non stop for thirty minutes..........only a small proportion of graduates actually manage 5k in that 30 minutes.........but you will at least be well on the way.

Well done for starting - this is the hardest part of the programme!!

Don't get too focussed on the distance of 5k as the whole idea is to be able to run for 30 minutes non-stop. You will progress with your running through the weeks by completing each run in turn and you will be amazed at how you progress. As you start on the longer running sections, in particular, you need to remember to go slow and steady.

Good luck, enjoy, and most of all keep us updated.

Thanks all. I used to run quite a lot but after illness Where i couldn't run anymore, my confidence was shot at! So gave myself a kick up the arse and bought a treadmill. Determined to get back to running regularly. I was always bench marking myself from before I was ill on the previous app, which does nothing for the confidence! Looking forward to a new, fresh way of tracking my progress! 👍 and the support on here is great. Thank you ✋️

You don't need to think of 5K.. at all... just run and enjoy... Take it slow and steady and you will get to running for 30 minutes in nine weeks ( more if you need more time).

Welcome to this great forum:)Well done!
