Run now on hold due to hand op on both of my hands yesterday. ( Carpal tunnel) v sore today so couldn't possibly run. Did wk 3 run 1 on Thurs but not sure when I'll be able to run now for a bit. V frustrating!

Don't worry, just ease back in when you are ready, you will be fine. What's the point in being able to run if you have pain/issues with your hands, your body is one tool, if you can't use all of it then you need to fix it.

I hope you have a quick and good recovery Unfitat ! If you are anything like me you will be so pleased that you had the operation done, as the pain is so much better afterwards. Even if you have to start again from the beginning it will be worth it.

I had to restart twice, once because of bad asthma and chest infection and once with sore knees, but now I think that it might have been a bonus, as the third time I went through with no hitches and it was much easier as I had a bit of residual fitness from my first attempts.

Maybe think of the runs you have already done as training for your next start and you will fly next time.
