Wasn't motivated at all for a run last night, with the nights drawing in and the time i go to run I shouldn't but I'm finding it hard to get out and get motivated. However something in me said to get out and run.
Kitted up/stretched and started my warm up, it was still a little light as i managed to get out a little earlier than planned, and then time to jog.
Pace ... got to pace myself ... but after the first mile at a slower pace i felt great ... was this the running euphoria i had heard so much about lol. mile 2 came and went, breathing ok check, pace ok check, legs ... legs doing fine ... what is this witchcraft normally i am cream crackered by now.
ok i hadn't planned on a run and when i did get out i had only planned on doing 30 minutes or in my case 2.3 miles, come on womble lets try for the 5k lets see what you can do.
quick watch check 2.5 miles ... 2.7 ... 2.9 ... 3.0 ... then finally 3.1, i couldn't believe it stopping my timer and coming to a slow walk to cool down i felt great, euphoric and proud of what i had achieved.
now to carry this on and after another week increase slowly my mid week run, 10k here i come
