W6 D1 - gave up yesterday

Felt bad yesterday because I just didn't have the energy for the run. I managed half but tiredness and a blustery wind eventually won. But I tried again before breakfast and it was fine.

Am I the only one who gets through by counting my steps when running? Seems to work for me.

Great for getting it done today. No, I don't count, I distract myself with music and stories. I also think about random things like fashion or books I've read.

Very well done for getting out there today and cracking W6R1 - that was probably my hardest run of the whole C25K. I'm not a counter myself (music and story distractions for me too), but you're not alone!

I used to do the counting thing, especially for the last 60 seconds. I was always relieved when I 'miscounted' and the run finished before I finished counting. Often, though, I would get distracted from the counting and the run would finish anyway!
