Been a few weeks since I graduated. Week 9 was REALLY tough for me, struggled to keep running for the 30mins on run 1,but, managed to keep going on 2&3. Had to run through the 30mins to do 5k, took 32:24. My last C25K run was 18th August. Because I run before work, I have moved into the gym where I now do 3, 5k runs a week with a PB of 28:54. Proof again that if a 17st 49yr old couch potato can do this, then anyone can. Procrastination kills progress and Remember........."There, but for me, go I"

I admire anyone who can do sub 30 soon after graduating. I doubt I'll ever achieve that. Well done you.

And I love the final quote.

Seems like it's going really well and that you are getting into a good running habit :)

It helps that I was really sporty in my younger days and had a sharp competitive edge, which, is still there!! Nowadays, the brain sends the same signals, but, the body's response is "you want me to do what? Get outta town"😂😂
