I WAS DIAGNOSISED 2YEARS AGO WITH BURSITIS NOT TO MENTION I HAVE OTHER ILLNESSES FIBROMYALGA HAS BEEN REALLY DIFFICULT FOR ME I FEEL SO ALONE MY FAMIKY SAYS THEY UNDERSTAND. BUT THEY HAVE NO IDEA.. I FEEL LIKE THEY THINK IM FAKING MY PAIN.

Sorry to hear this. It's frustrating when you have a hidden illness and you don't feel others understand.

Thank you I sometimes wonder why me. I stay awake crying in pain it's taking a toll on me mentally I Always feel like a burden its just overvwhelming

You may get further support from one of the forums that are focused on fybromylagia as this forum is all about running, in particular people embarking on the Couch to 5K programme. I wasn't sure from your post if you are running the C25K too.

Hi HOOTIESLOST, I wonder if you have posted on the correct forum. This is a running forum and while we do have runners with both bursitis and fibromyalgia, you make no mention of it impacting on your exercise regime, leaving me wondering about your intentions.

I understand from some with fibromyalgia that exercise, while difficult, does have a positive effect on their pain control.
