Some advice from this great forum please? Graduated almost a year ago and then had a year of health issues culminating in a bad bout of acute pyelonephritis which set my running career back a bit. Lost 12 lbs though - every cloud . . . Not the way you want to do it though. So when I felt ok again I started C25K from the beginning - I enjoyed it so much the first time round. Felt fantastic right from the first run. Next run is W9 R1 and I can't wait. This time my breathing pattern was there right from the beginning so I must have retained something from my first time through the programme. It clearly does work.
Looking to when I graduate x 2, advice seems to be to consolidate on 30 mins continuous running first, then try to increase the distance a bit, and then try the speed and stamina podcasts. Does this seem reasonable - any other advice welcome as I`m here to stay this time. I have been lurking on the forum but haven't posted anything for over a year!
BTW MrI started C25K earlier in the year (on my recommendation!!) and graduated a couple of weeks ago.
