Just starting week 3 - I'm 16 stone , 52 , 5foot 7 and eat like a pig. Not massively enjoying it but I know it's doing me good and I do feel more positive afterwards. However I'm still stuffing my face so I must try and make an effort . However pleased surprised as I've managed it so far .
Giddy up: Just starting week 3 - I'm 16 stone... - Couch to 5K

Good for you! I'm 51, 5' 4" and overweight by 3 1/2 stone and I've just graduated - can't actually believe it myself. This programme is brilliant. I still would't say I enjoy it but I am so pleased with myself for finishing. In my case it has proved to be Couch to 3.5 k as I run so slowly but I am going to keep going and hope to make it to 5k one day. Keep going you can do it.
You've done 2 weeks so officially no longer a new newbie.... Week 3 is imho a foundation week, it starts setting you up for the further runs. I think you are probably joking when you say you are still stuffing your face, but one thing I did do was start eating a post run flapjack because I was exercising. Mmmm not a great idea, so I have become a chewing gum addict instead. Well done on keeping to the programme, each week tests you just that little bit more. Well done on keeping the faith happy running

Stop.... not the running.. the stuffing... you can do it...!
No half measures.. you have to commit to this... a healthy eating regime, taken at the pace of the programme, slow and steady. will work...but you have to want it.. do you want it ?
