Starting wk3 of treadmill version. So far so good but think I will need decent trainers. Any ideas?

Having just had mine and wish I had done much sooner. Go get a gait analysis (free) and try the selection of their suggested trainers. At least you know you can run on a treadmill, I was totally unable to!

Thanks. Never heard of gait analysis. Will look into it especially if it's free!

Makes such a difference to have good trainers. I went to The SweatShop and they custom fit insoles, analyse your running and you try out trainers on a treadmill until you get the right pair. Very impressed!

Trainers are a very personal choice. I like the variety and expert advice I get from Asics (my feet are everything but simple... wide, flat 🙈). If you're lucky you'll be near an outlet village, they ship all their old stock to outlets where you can the same advice providing you aren't to fussed by colour you can grab a bargain!
