Well week 7 was pretty hard going towards the end. I ran too fast in my final run and had to walk/run the final 5 mins. I was then plagued by mental gremlins and a dodgy stomach but I was back on plan today - I ignored the mental gremlins telling me to give it up around the 8 minute mark and pushed on through for the required 28 minutes - not far off the big 5k now ☺

Hi YK, did my first 28 minutes today and was slower than last week. Consoling myself in the fact that i kept going for 28 minutes even if there was precious left at the end.
As Laura says, the speed doesn't matter. Not long now!
Sounds like those pesky gremlins have packed their bags. Keep it slow and steady in the final few weeks.
My gremlins always try to put me off my stride (lol) between 5 and 10 minutes) - I try to ignore them. I'm winning so far!
Think positve! Go slowly and you'll finish the job with puff to spare
