I can't believe that I only have 3 more runs coming up and that I can now run for 28 minutes!! Didn't seem possible all those weeks ago
For all those who are behind me in their journey know that its totally possible to do this just believe in yourself.
I was 43, very overweight and unfit when I started this programme, and now I can run (I still don't enjoy running but I do like running down by the beach and I like the sense of achievement that I get when i complete a run)
I am envious of those runners I see who aren't the colour of a post box and seem to glide past me whilst I look like I might collapse at any time BUT I am out there doing something and proving to myself that I can and maybe just maybe someday I can grow up to be like those runners.

w9r2 today and yep like you don't know where the weeks have gone so quickly, only yesterday I was struggling along thinking this is not going to happen and then looking at what next weeks runs were and again thinking that's a big jump I'll never manage that
But here we are on the verge of graduation and yes like you I hope to become one of those runners you see gliding along whilst doing a crossword and knitting a jumper all at the same time lol
I am 44, overweight and unfit and am 2 weeks behind you (W7R1 this morning). I feel exactly the same as you and am so so so happy to have found this programme.
Congrats on getting to week 9 - hope to see you there soon!
Week 9 is only another 2 minutes. Not much in the grand scheme of things. You may be bright red compared to those other runners but compared to those still sitting on the couch at home? Night and day from where you were. 3 more runs and you graduate 😀👍
Just done my graduation run, certainly no gliding going on and I was definitely deep dark red. I think it's a grown up runner thing, or maybe they all get dropped off around the corner in chauffeur driven limos? Good luck graduating next week
