Just completed my first run after stopping running more than and year ago. Ran on grass, lapping the park. This helped my knees and ankles. Looking forward to runs 2 and 3 now.

Go you!

Running on grass is much kinder to your joints and it is actually slower, so when you hit the black stuff, you will fly.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Slow, steady enjoy the softness :) Well done!

Grass is definitely more forgiving and helps with avoiding the jarring that can happen on tarmac or concrete. Good luck with the rest of your new W1.
