How can a run feel absolutely rubbish, but look so good on Srava?

I had major shin aches at about 10mins in, and a turning car in a country lane made me stop and it took me 2-3 mins of walking to get going again. Then device issues were bothering me when I was trying to keep a rhythm.

Anyway I thought I would make up for the mid run walking by speeding up at the last 5 minute mark, and kept going until I knew I had 5 minutes left to walk home. The result - on this route I am "trending faster"!

I think this shows that I am trying to prove something to myself 😊

A run is a run! Good, bad or indifferent 🙂 You only need to move really steadily. No need to hurry 🙂

Well I hope you are also fitting in nice easy runs, just for pleasure, with no reference to performance, because that is the way to progress, in my view.

Well done, but don't get hung up on stats.
