A touch of nostalgia...

I'm visiting my dad in Devon so took a nostalgic route on today's very soggy run, incorporating much of the old cross country course I ran in my teens. I loved cross country and thoroughly enjoyed my trip down memory lane, remembering sliding through the woods, covered head to toe in mud, in ice and snow, grin plastered on my face.

I'd forgotten how much I loved running as a teenager and it's so wonderful to have rediscovered it after all this time. Must have been a lot fitter then though - the hills nearly destroyed me!

Well done.... running and rediscovering your inner child again....

Wonderful!

Brilliant to rediscover that passion in such a beautiful place. What a short, but very inspiring post. The enthusiasm shines out
