My injured knee is getting better by the day, still have some pain but I can at least walk up the stairs at work properly!
My question is when I am ready to try to start again, which I'm hoping will be next week sometime, would you recommend wearing a knee support or elasticated bandage on my sore knee?
Thank you. x

I would say if it's better then you don't need a support. You do need to build your runners legs - and I'm not convinced a support would help this. However I am not a medic or physio etc.
What I would suggest is maybe a couple of run/ walk sessions to test it out, building distance slowly. Monitor how it feels after each run and take it from there. After my knee injury I also did a bit of power walking to aid fitness as it's less impact. But beware, power walking is hard work 😃🏃🏼♀️
It largely depends on what he injury you suffered was. the internet is not a good place to get medical advice. The doctor is a better source of information for that.
That said, if you have a weakness of the knee, you need to strengthen the muscles of the upper legs to support it better. Knees do not have muscles of their own. A knee support or KT tape will be a temporary fix but address the symptom, not the cause.
If it still hurts, maybe get it checked out...better to get it sorted properly maybe than to risk a recurrence As Rignold says.. a temporary fix does not solve a problem, if there is one
