Unkind thought I know, but what great entertainment for the other gym users! I've seen someone run too slowly and get worked off the end. The ground outside doesn't have an emergency stop button - ah, thinking about it, when I tripped and fell on my face that's about the same!

I put it on here for a bit of entertainment for you all - I don't mind you sniggering! We should never take ourselves too seriously!

Next time wear a tee shirt with 'Treadmill Tester' inscribed on the back. Follow up the fall, with a clear shout 'Well I am glad this emergency stop button works' - no-one will be the wiser... ;)

I used a new T shirt at Parkrun on Saturday ... says "OK OK OK I will run" on the front and "but I will grumble all the time" on the back

Love that idea, as anyone behind you, as you sprint to the end, will never realise what you're grumbling at
