I followed the link. The very first thing that caught my eye was a picture of a young woman that clearly doesn't need to worry about maybe taking a day or two off. She's clearly super fit and if she sat still for a week, she'd still be able to get straight up and burn most of us out without even breaking a sweat.

It puzzles me as to why articles aimed at the average person wanting to get a bit more fit and active, always feature pictures of super athletic Peter and Petra Perfect. If the pic had been of a slightly lumpy person drowning in their own sweat, I might have been able to relate to it enough to read on :)

Ahh, but it is a swishy pony-tail-hair girl. They are not proper runners. You'll see them (and their washboard midriffs) in the summer. But do you ever see them in the spring, autumn or winter? Think about it... you've never seen one in February, have you? Perhaps they hibernate.

They're in the gym in the cooler wetter months. I've seen em in there when I had to join the gym for a while as part of my rehab regime when I managed to injure both knees.

Mmmmmm my daughter did her first post transplant Parkrun in February........she has a swishy ponytail and washboard midriff.....down to her gymnastic background. Mind you she has a little mound low on her abdomen where that super efficient new kidney sits.......she is very proud of it. I am proud she has made a great comeback to good health and fitness. 😃🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

I wish I did - mine is normally stuck to my head with sweat after about 5 minutes! As for the midriff.................

Nice list.

And if you search the forum for the word 'greenstick' you'll find my permissible reasons to stop running and cut a session short :-)

Good luck.
