Evening all, just thought I'd check in as I joined 2 weeks ago and completed W3R1 this morning. I'm using this as an aid to my slimming world journey. Half way to my 4 stone goal! Running with my wingman, Alan the Springer....just had to order him some dog boots as we can't get away from grass seeds on the fields behind us. Is there anyone else just running on edge of fields..when I do decide to get new trainers, what would you suggest. My feet were soaked within 5 mins when it had rained the other day.

Well done.

There are such things as waterproof running shoes but frankly wetness and mud go along with running, like sunrises and snow, warmth and cold..........you are outdoors.......... that's the way it is!

Haha fair enough! Out in all weathers with the dog, but when you're walking you can at least put ya wellies on, don't think I'll get away with running in those 😂

I know what you mean about grass seeds. Trouble for dogs! Running with a springer is quite common on here so you. you might find yourself at canicross before too long 😃

If you are running in fields and on trails you might do better with trail running shoes on. They let wet in but it flows out again. I was running in very long wet grass recently but it was fine and I ran on and didn't even notice. Wear proper Run socks too,,they aren't dear

Slow jogs are all you need for the programme . Have fun out there
