I'm sure you're right, ju-ju- , and he would be the first to admit that to run 27 marathons in 27 days is rather bonkers. Also, he got his advice from other ultra-marathon runners. As a group, they all must be a bit mad (hope I'm not transgressing any liable laws here). But even Laura tells us that part of doing C25K is training our minds to do the longer runs. And having graduated over two months ago, that's the part that I need to work on most.

I think to run 27 marathons in as many days is rather nuts!! However every respect. Ultrarunners are all painchasers.... it goes with the territory...

This is so true for me. I know my body can do the 30 minutes - it's just my mind that tells me I can't. It was literally my mind yesterday, when confronted with a hill that I hadn't known about on my route, that said "no, no, no, NO, NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! STOP! Walk!"
