Hi I've just done my first run of week 6....your vlog was sooo reassuring that today wasn't just tough for me on my lonesome...hoping to celebrate completion of week 6 on Friday (again agree with you that's it's strange saying week 6) I will keep watching your posts for encouragement thanks π
Aw thank you π
I struggled last week with those first two runs I thought there was no way I would be able to complete the 25 mins.
I hope this week goes ok for us.
Well done for making it to week six x
You're doing brilliantly!
After the tricky week 6, week 7 won't seem as difficult
I wouldn't worry about finishing further away from home than planned. The walk home will help stretch out tired muscles π
Good luck π
Well done.... and for taking charge... I'm also a nurse although I moved into management about 15 years ago... I said once in an interview, ' I'm only a D grade,' and they said, ' never say only, you are a nurse, and that is something to be proud of,'. I have never forgotten that... so be proud of being a band 5 and all the hard work you do..... xxx
Hey Juju
Always great to meet a fellow nurse, tbh it's one of the reasons I started the c25k as a stress reliever. It's so stressful on the wards these days.
Thanks for all your support xx π
Week 7 will hopefully be more enjoyable after the weirdness of week six. You are on the home straight. Go steady !ππββοΈ
Enjoyed watching your vlog! Amazed at how well you are able to record yourself running. I was looking for motivation and tuned into your vid, thanks it was both entertaining and motivating.
I have completed week 9 run 1 on my treadmill and had several injections in my knee so I am progressing v slowly. One more injection next week.(Two steps forward, one step back). I am hoping to keep running.
Great getting new clothes for yourself, congrats on starting week 7.
