So I am about to start week 2 tomorrow but I feel I am starting to come down with a cold (why now?). I am getting lots of rest and making sure I eat lots of good food today and hopefully I will won't be ill tomorrow.
Is it a good idea to run with a cold if I feel fine in myself?

The received wisdom is that if you have a head cold you can run, but if it is on your chest, then don't.
Personally, I avoid running if I am not feeling well. It can become a slog, performance may drop and frankly it is not very enjoyable. Better to have an extra day or two resting. I have found that even when l thought I was recovered, that strenuous exercise shows up any below par condition.
