I'm sure this is a popular post. But I can't seem to avoid getting stitch. Any tips? I've tried regulating my breathing.

It could be due to what you eat before a run and also how long you leave after eating, prior to running.
It may also be your breathing. I'm sure more experienced runners will be along soon to shed more light.

You can get it when you get tired and you start to lose your running form, shoulders begin to hunch. Consciously run tall! If necessary stop, bend down and slowly touch your toes, then slowly wind yourself back up again and reach forthe sky with both hands, extending enough so you feel it in your mid section. Still, with your arms in the air, lean over on the side of the stitch and do a little side bend, same on the other side and then run on
i seem to get it when running hills
Stiches have got nothing to do with breathing.
Mostly its due to heavy food in the past two meals. Try to stay light.
