W4R2....again found the 2nd run of the week very tough feel liked I failed and really cross with myself the last 5min run took me to a hill so I thought I can do it but the last 20 seconds I had to stop feeling awful and annoyed with myself going to push myself harder on 3rd run to make up for it
Feeling it! π¨: W4R2....again found the 2nd run... - Couch to 5K
Feeling it! π¨
Never ever feel like you have failed β you have not. It was just a hard run for whatever reason. We all have those days.
Don't be annoyed with yourself build on the experience and push through to the next run, maybe plan your run so you don't hit that hill again ?
However you feel, don't beat yourself up about it. Just tried to run again If you feel that you need to or want to. Just go at your own pace and listen to your body
Sounds like you gave it a good go, I had to stop and help a cyclist who had fallen off his bike in the last few seconds of my last 5 mins, I almost didn't stop, I just so wanted to complete it!!!π©
Forget the "I failed". Were you sitting on the couch? Did you wimp out of putting on your running shoes? Did you do the warm up walk, then turn for home? No, no and no!
Take your rest day then go out again. No one is telling the muscles and stuff in your legs etc that you did (the biggest) part of a run, all they know is that they were asked again to perform, just like they have been for the last four weeks and they will respond, they will get stronger, they will build.
Your mental approach will help too, but even without that, your body will be stronger on Friday than it is today simply because you ran today. I love rest days!!
It takes a star to complete Week 1, now it's your job to keep shining, even when it's cloudy!
Go girl we are all behind youππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌ
I think most of us find that 2nd run of the week hard. I thought w4r3 was much better - you should be fine, just remember what the graduates keep telling us - slow and steady π
Don't push harder....and never use the 'f' word on this forum. ! You were out there, you did it... you kept going.
Move on slow and steady and just go with it. Trust the programme and have faith in yourself!!!
