Mind Struggle

Wk4 run 1 done at a slow pace. Wk4 run 2 and 3 such a struggle, kept going back to a walk earlier than I should have. I know I can do it but is such a mind game. Not looking forward to next week. Think I might repeat this week with a better mental attitude. Any advice to help the mind over body?

You can do it!

Why not maybe try the 3rd run again, keep going slowly slowly. Then you are set for week five.

Remember to walk at a pace that allows you to recover ready for the next run.

I'm sure you won't need to repeat the whole week but maybe give run 3 another go. Your body is capable of so much more than your mind will allow you to believe, so that gremlin will taunt you unless you give it a squash under your running shoe. You can do this run. You know you can. One more try and you'll nail it.
