Hi flowergirl. The thing is, if you never try, you'll never know. Why not have a go? Take it very slowly and see how you feel. If you can't follow the programme to the letter it really doesn't matter.
My daughter-in-law has fibro and some days she can barely drag herself out of bed. She runs when she can. Her way of looking at it is that she's going to get pain anyway, so might as well run and have pain as sit around in pain! She does what she can when she can but at least she's doing something to benefit her general health.
Wishing you all the best.

Hi another fibro person here. I've just finished week 2 and ready to take on week 3. I do take sometimes 2 days rest according to how I feel and pain levels. Oh, and I repeated week 1 twice. This time I'll try jumping to week 3 without repeating week 2. So, fingers crossed! But if it feels bad, I'll just repeat week 2 for another week until I can take the next one. Oh! I also discovered that hot shower/bath with some rubbing oils, after running helps a lot. It's great to hear I'm not the only one! Take care and try not to tense up while running. Let me know how you are doing.
