There's much joy and satisfaction to be had from simply placing one foot in front of other, since it presents an opportunity to disconnect from stresses and worries, if only briefly. Still, the simple activity can allow a wonderful sense of perspective to endure, hence why running remains such a popular past time.

Although we'd all like to be as sprightly as Mo, many continue to participate, not with the overall ambition to be quicker, but to repeatedly enjoy the sense of solace and satisfaction that running provides.
