OMG this reminds me so much of my early days, one on each shoulder is what it felt like...then it got worse, I had an English gremlin on the left shoulder, and a French one on the right, each of them telling me to stop and go home. No wonder the locals think I'm bonkers, plodding along very sloooowwly, swearing in English and French at invisible people...
