Who is watching the London Marathon this morning? I have two friends running this morning. So will be thinking of them.

Also will be in awe of the elite times. To me some of their times seem unreal, especially when I think of my own pace πŸ˜€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ.

I ran to the loo- then back in bed in time for the wheelchair start, cuppa in hand ;)

I know of a few there today, I'm getting anxious just thinking about their day ahead!

Used to watch it admiringly but without a second thought, today the 'understanding' of knowing what they are all facing makes it even more admirable πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ

At the moment I'm thinking if mouth breathing is good enough for the second fastest female marathon runner ever it's good enough for me!

I guess the joys of being a hobby runner is if you want to be sick while you are running you can go and do it quietly without the cameras watching you.😳.

Aly Dixon makes me hopeful about my running because her gait seems similar to mine! She's just crossing the line now as the fastest GBR runner.

I know amazing. I will never be that sort of pace but I just love watching them. Unfortunately I have to get on with my day😫😫😫😫😫😫 so I have to stop watching.

I was running in some gorgeous woods at some stately pile so missed it. I shall watch the highlights programme later. There was a marathon being run alongside my 10k race, and an 60k ultra. Gulp.

Have been glued to it throughout - totally inspiring!πŸ˜€πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»πŸ₯‡πŸ˜€

We were at the Southampton marathon today so missed it. But I saw the Swansea Harrier runner help another poorly runner over the finish line and that was just tear jerking. He probably gave up his time selflessly to help another runner to finish. I was so inspired by that act of sportsmanship. I was also wanting to know how the mind over marathon people got on but no news that I can see.

Had to work today so just seen the highlights - glad to see even the elites can have nausea problems (well maybe relieved rather than pleased). Shame Brendan Foster is going. Work colleague who didn't get a place ran her first marathon in Hamburg this morning - 3hours 49!!!

I watched it all. Very inspiring, especially Matthew Rees helping a fellow runner.
