Sadly last week got messed up with bad weather and feeling over tired due to the shifts I was on and so I only did 2 runs last week a nd then finished today. I was dreading week 6 as everyone was saying how hard it is and it was with me not quite completing the second ten minute run on r2. This morning I decided to run on the route that I had measured rather than around the meadow I had been running on to see how far I would get. I am abosultely over the moon and proud to say at I ran the whole 25 minutes and ran the distance of 3.2km . I do have to admit that taking the dog maybe helped as she was pulling me along a little but equally that did also push me. Maybe she knows my goal! I feel like putting a banner out. A few weeks ago I was hyper as I could run for a full 3 minutes and now look at me. Maybe road running is easier than what is essentially cross country for me, no idea but I am going to use this route most of the time now so I can measure where I get to and hope that each day I can either reach the point I got to the run before or that I go that bit further. I hope the rest of my day continues on such a positive note!

Woo-hoo, go you! I find road running easier but like trail running round the local park / woods so I mix it up depending on my mood. Great that the dog's decided to help. Enjoy your day.

Part of my plan was to get a dog that would help me, I had one of these in mind

Hah, not all dogs are so helpful. Troublesome Pup's only help is in offering me advanced resistance training as she plonks her furry bum on the pavement the moment she realises I'm running. And won't move until I turn and head for home. Hopeless.

Sounds like you had a great run, though, Otobe50andfit :) And a helpful pup too! Enjoy running together. :)
