It was really awesome reading so many positive replies to my previous post earlier this week. I finished(struggled through) week 4 yesterday. I think I will do another day of 4 before moving to 5! Thanks everyone!

If you feel you need to go for it.. take those rest days and keep it, as ever slow and steady.. the programme and us :) will get you through ! :)

Hey, greatest place on the internet here! I managed W4R3 as well this week but didn't feel at all happy about it, too much of a struggle I thought: I get pretty hard on myself, but as someone once said to me "that's your way". I have decided to move myself on to Week 5 (first session of the three different sessions is 3 repeats of those 5 minute runs that I struggled with in W4) rather than stay doing repeats of W4. I don't think I will do even that first W5R1 session straight off, but as it's essentially the same 5 minute runs - except more of them - I might just as well go there to effectively do some repeats! You never know I might even surprise myself and manage to catch glimpse of those flying pigs. Keep posting, we can both do this - for me it's going to be a long haul but I'll get there in the end! Is there an adjective for people who have completed W4 ... I really do hope so

Just keep getting out there and giving it a go .......Each week I think I'm never going to get through day 1 but here I am psyching up to do day 3 of week 6. Never mind flying pigs, they are doing double loop de loops over me :) Focus on putting one foot in front of the other and it will soon pass.... happy running :D

This is just the best place ever to hang out, be encouraged, inspired and even virtually hugged when you need it! Absolutely nothing wrong with slipping an extra week 4 run in if you want to. Relax, keep things slow and steady, the weeks will fly and you'll be running further than you thought possible before you know it! ☺

Hi Ktina

If you feel you need to do another Week 4 run, do it , this is your journey. Each run lays the foundations for the next one and the programme wont throw anything at you that youre not capable of .. Slow and steady is the way and if you feel you need extra rest days , take them .

Good Luck and really Well done on your progress so far ! :-) xxx

Well done for completing week 4. By all means put an extra week 4 run in if you feel you need it. As long as you keep getting out there and running! :)

Well done Ktina 😊

I enjoyed Week 4 and did it a few extra times too.. There is no harm in getting a bit more comfortable with that 5 min run. You are doing great, and Week 5 is a really good week too!.. 😊

Trust the plan it works..Week 5 is totally doable as you will discover...

Good luck.🏃

The groups is just the best, isn't it?! If you get out there and feel you could have a try at Week 5 then give it a go! If you've completed the previous runs you can do it, the programme has prepared you. Slow down if you're struggling - that's the mantra of the programme. Slow down, slow down a bit more (and you're still going too fast, slow down!)! :)
