Setting myself a Keep Moving in 2017 challenge! In 2016, I wanted to cover 1500 Km (932 miles)! (walking, running, cycling, step aerobics) and I did it! Next year, I will raise it to 2000 km (1243 miles)! This will mean going out on my bike once a week to boost the distances, hope the weather will be good!! I need to cover 39 km (24 miles)every week to do it!

Great plan, that is some distances you will be doing. I do it from September - September. Birthday to birthday, I did 1000km last year and am aiming the same this year as 2017 is going to be really busy year for me. Last year I got myself a bronze medal, this year I'm working towards the silver one then 2018 a gold with a greater distance, I think. Good luck.

That sounds like a great plan! I love winter running the best despite the uncertain weather and now I have my headtorch, early morning or night time running is fun. My legs feel good, some stiffness in my knees which I help with strength and flex exercises but they always improve too with running rest days, so I think I can do a little more. Introducing more cycling means I can up distances without too much difficulty

I really like this idea but I'm not sure what is achievable. For me it might be to do 15 Parkrun and get my 5K time under 30 minutes. Hmmm - I'm going to have a think about this.

Thank you for the idea.😊

This is what I love about running, we all have different goals but can celebrate each other's achievements. I only did parkrun a few times, I will go back again, thanks for the idea
