Good luck to those running and remember the most important thing to take from events. Is to HAVE FUN. It's not a race it's a personal achievement so whatever your time or pace remember you gave it your all and enjoy your accomplishment

For those not quite ready this year. Just think how ready you will be next year. I bet there are a few runners tomorrow who never would of imagined going and doing a Parkrun on Christmas Eve If you had asked them last year.

I will be thinking of you all trying not to feel too jealous I can't go myself.

It's so true what you say about running at parkrun at Christmas , never in a million years did I think I would ever do it , definitely a life changer is this running lark and long may it continue !

Yes, I am that person. Last year I would never have believed that I'd run my first Parkrun this Christmas Eve but I am heading out shortly to do just that. Hang in there everyone, you've made a life choice to be more active - the best gift you can give yourselves. Good luck to any other virgin Parkrunners and Happy Christmas everyone.🎄👣🐢🏃🏿❤️

Just up and having some tea and toast - nice morning in Monifieth so far (12 miles as the crow flies from St Andrews Parkrun) - just checked forecast for there and it's not changed - going to be a wet and windy one.
